Is your child eager to learn and grow but just misses the kindergarten cutoff date of October 1st set by most New Jersey School Districts? Or maybe they could benefit from an extra year of development before stepping into elementary school? We're here for you!
A Fun and Nurturing Environment
In our warm and interactive classroom, your child will embark on exciting adventures every day. They'll make new friends, learn to share, and build important communication skills—all while having a blast! We focus on creating a supportive space where kids feel confident to explore and express themselves.
Hands-On Learning in Math and Science
We bring learning to life with engaging activities that spark curiosity. Through counting games, playful sorting exercises, and simple experiments, your child will discover the wonders of math and science. This extra year gives them the chance to dive deeper, laying a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond.
Boosting Language and Literacy
Language is at the heart of everything we do. With fun games and activities, we'll help your child expand their vocabulary, master phonics, and grow their overall language skills. We understand that every child learns at their own pace, so we tailor our lessons to fit their unique needs and interests.
Personalized Attention for Your Child
We believe that every child is special. That's why we offer individualized learning plans that cater to your child's abilities and passions. With smaller class sizes, we ensure that your little one gets the attention they deserve, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.

With over 25 years of experience, she brings warmth, wisdom, and a loving touch to our classroom. “My son started at Morrow Memorial Preschool (MMPS) when he was 2.5 years old. We were drawn to the co-op model, which allowed us time in the classroom with him, and we created strong relationships with other parents. Three wonderful years later, he finished his time at Morrow in the KinderBridge program. In KinderBridge, he gained a love for school and learning while having fun through the play-based model. The strong foundation ensured an easy transition to Kindergarten.
The teachers at MMPS are professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Mrs. Gray and Mrs. McCarthy, who teach KinderBridge, are exceptional. I can only hope our son will have another teacher like them. The small classroom that KinderBridge offers allowed our son to have one-on-one time to develop the skills he needed for Kindergarten.
MMPS offers lots of outdoor time year-round, which was critical to me. The outdoor area has multiple learning stations, including a Mud Kitchen the kids adore. The children have time to run around with their friends while also learning.
As a parent, MMPS has provided ways for me to be involved, from a board seat to volunteering for clean-up days. Leadership is focused on creating a loving and extraordinary environment for the children and families in the Morrow family.”

“We feel so fortunate to have found the KinderBridge program at Morrow Preschool. It has been truly life-changing for us. When we first moved to the area, we were set to enroll our eldest son in Kindergarten as he had a summer birthday, but realized as the first days of school approached that he might not be ready. He had been through a lot in his first 5 years - severe medical issues, the pandemic, a cross-country move - and had developed a strong negative response to new adults and situations (to put it mildly). Luckily, we found the KinderBridge program and Mrs. Gray to help us navigate the year. It was not easy for any of us. We faced constant intense school avoidance every morning. But every morning, Mrs. Gray took him in and helped him find his way into a routine. It took persistence, consistency, an amazing sense of humor, and a whole lot of LOVE from Mrs. Gray to get him on board with being there every day. But now as a second grader, she is still one of his FAVORITE people and he asks to see her every time he comes along to drop off his little brother, who is now in his third year at Morrow and gets to experience Mrs. Gray’s class for himself this year! Our younger son is also greatly benefiting from the structured play-based curriculum they follow in class. He’s suddenly interested in numbers and seeing letters everywhere. He’s learning how to be a “bucket filler” and care for the world around him. This experience is helping pave the way so that he can succeed academically and socially once he enters Kindergarten next year. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the Morrow KinderBridge family and highly recommend coming to see it for yourself!”

"KinderBridge at Morrow has been the perfect place for both of my children. My oldest was right on the cusp of the kindergarten cutoff, and the extra year helped her to thrive when she got to elementary school. We enjoyed the program so much that we chose it again for my youngest, who just missed the cutoff. He enjoys learning with kids his own age at a pace that suits him, and each day he comes home excited to go back.
Mrs. Gray and Mrs. McCarthy are brilliant at connecting with the kids in ways that are exploratory and fun, while developing the skills and self-regulation needed for school. I especially appreciate how much time the class spends outdoors and in the community, learning through experience.
Hearing about my children’s adventures in KinderBridge continues to be a highlight of my day! I'm so grateful to have found such a positive and enriching experience for them."
